Hellsongs certainly are a Swedish “lounge steel” trio whose wry indie pop addresses of rock classics want Megadeth’s “Symphony of Devastation” and Iron Maiden’s “Set you back the Hillsides” made them a cult strike online and on Scandinavian radio in the first 2000s. Harriet Ohlsson, Johan Bringhed, and Kalle Karlsson shaped the group in nov 2004 and performed their first present at a barn in rural Sweden. The group documented three demo paths by enough time 2005 rolled around; the tracks were found by Sveriges Riksradio’s P3 (a Swedish nationwide radio station just like BBC 1 and CBC 3) for rotation for the heavy metal display Rundgång.
