Home / Biography / Helloïse

A Dutch hard rock and roll group featuring Stan Verbraak (vocals), Ben Blaauw (guitar), Arjan Boogerds (guitar), Marchell Remeeus (bass) and Ernst Truck Ee (drums), Helloise recorded two moderate studio room collections for main label WEA Information in the mid-80s. Both Blaauw and Truck Ee had previously used Highway Chile, but Helloise was an entirely more refined, musically complex task. Cosmogony, the group’s debut, released in 1985, guaranteed strong praise because of its musical dynamism and free-flowing rhythms, but product sales lagged behind the important response. That destiny also befell Polarity, released in 1987, and WEA lost endurance and Truck Ee still left the group. The group attemptedto soldier on, but by the first 90s got become disappointed with too little record-company a reaction to an allegedly excellent set of demonstration tapes.
