Heine Beau

Clarinet, reeds, arranger. A superb clarinet player who was simply effective in both traditional and golf swing circles, Heinie Beau became a familiar physique in Hollywood circles, performing plans for radio and tv aswell as recording classes. Beau have been in Tommy Dorsey’s orchestra from 1940 – 1943. He documented with Peggy Lee, Frank Sinatra and several jazz rings, particulary Crimson Nichols. Beau and Nichols had been comrades and musical companions from the first ’40s until Nichols’ loss of life in 1965. Through the past due ’50s Beau re-arranged many Nichols’ pieces, keeping the taste and instrumentation from the originals while upgrading and infusing them along with his own powerful. He toured European countries in the ’70s.
