Héctor Giovanni

Héctor Giovanni is a salsa vocalist from Puerto Rico who’s associated with Gilberto Santa Rosa as well as the label Camínalo Discos. Created in Condado, Puerto Rico, Giovanni cites among his affects La Sonora Ponceña, Rubén Cutting blades, Oscar D’León, Ray Barretto, and Un Gran Combo. He produced his full-length single recording debut with Paso a Paso (2008). Released by Camínalo Discos, a vanity label of salsa tale Gilberto Santa Rosa connected with Sony BMG, Paso a Paso features the solitary “A Calzón Quita’o,” compiled by José Aguinada and organized by Julito Alvarado.
