Heavy Cream

A mostly feminine garage-punk combo from Nashville, Large Cream create and play with the martial simplicity and pressure from the Ramones as well as the cocky, bad-girl swagger from the Runaways, all filtered via an imagination educated simply by lo-fi noise and trash-culture wit. Large Cream was created by vocalist Jessica McFarland, who 1st found Nashville in 2002 to wait Belmont University or college. While McFarland’s initial intention was to go after a profession in the entertainment market, the greater she learned all about the mainstream music business the much less she loved it, and finally she embraced punk rock and roll, forming a music group known as Meemaw. Meemaw split up in ’09 2009, and McFarland lost no time beginning a fresh group, recruiting three close friends (guitarist Mimi Galbierz, bassist Seth Sutton, and drummer Tiffany Minton) for Large Cream. As Nashville’s underground punk picture experienced a resurgence in the Aughts, Large Cream started playing regularly at night clubs and house celebrations, and this year 2010, the group released their 1st recording, Danny. The recording premiered by Infinity Kitty Records, an area independent label operate by members from the music group Jeff the Brotherhood, who also required Heavy Cream on the highway as their support take action.
