Power pop music group Heavens to Murgatroid was founded in Portsmouth, NH, in 1990 by vocalist/guitarist Rick Twombly and bassist Tim McCoy. After many staff shifts, their current lineup stabilized around business lead guitarist Tim Theriault and drummer Chris Boyle. Furthermore to many compilation efforts, Heavens to Murgatroid documented the self-employed LPs ! (1992) and Cyclop Pop (1995). Their third full-length recording was made by David Minehan (Neighborhoods, Celebrity Darts).
