Heaven & Hell

Produced in 2006 following late-era Dark Sabbath members Ronnie Adam Dio, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Vinny Appice reunited following a 15-year hiatus for three brand-new tracks over the Dio Years compilation, Heaven & Hell, called after Sabbath’s initial documenting with Dio in 1980, toured beneath the moniker in 2007 and released the two-disc CD/DVD Live from Radio Town Music Hall later on that year. The band’s initial full-length studio documenting, Devil YOU UNDERSTAND, found its way to 2009. Nevertheless, in November of this calendar year Dio’s wife, Wendy, announced that Dio was experiencing stomach cancer tumor, although indicating that the condition is at its first stages and expressing expect a complete recovery and go back to executing. Even so, Heaven & Hell eventually canceled their summer months 2010 touring programs and, unfortunately, Ronnie Adam Dio succumbed to the condition on, may 16, 2010, on the M.D. Anderson Cancers Middle in Houston, Tx.
