Heartworms

The Washington, D.C.-structured noise pop band the Heartworms comprised vocalist/guitarist Archie Moore (a previous person in Velocity Girl) and his girlfriend, vocalist/bassist Trisha Roy (also in Belmondo), plus a rotating cast of accommodating players including Chisel drummer Chris Norborg and Sabine’s Chip Porter. The group started in 1994, and released their first one “Thanks a lot for the Headaches” over the hip Darla label afterwards that calendar year. Space Escapade, the Heartworms’ debut LP, implemented in 1995; the Foes EP made an appearance in 1996.
