Heartsounds combine the accuracy of their metallic origins using the melody and rate of punk rock and roll to provide their undertake the ‘80s and ‘90s rings they was raised hearing. Founding users and guitarist/performers Laura Nichol and Ben Murray created Heartsounds in SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA in ’09 2009 following the separation of their earlier project, death metallic music group Light This Town, feeling burned right out of the strength of playing such weighty music and attempting to go back to their root base. They captured the hearing of Brett Gurewitz, whose Epitaph record label was house to rings they respected like WARM WATER Music and Gurewitz’s very own Bad Religious beliefs, and were agreed upon the following calendar year. Full-length debut Until We Surrender implemented soon after, presenting listeners with their catchy, earnest delivery and Nichol and Murray’s contrasting call-and-response vocals. They came back in 2011 by adding two new associates, bassist Kyle Camarillo and drummer Trey Derbes, to provide sophomore record Drifter, a far more mature and specialized effort displaying the bandmembers’ development as vocal and musical arrangers.
