Haysi Fantayzee was a quirky ’80s pop group known most because of its colorful thrift store picture and successful debut single “John Wayne Is Leggy.” Previous Pet Magnet member Paul Caplin was the group’s innovator, performing as arranger, maker, and lone instrumentally skillful member.
