American gospel singer Harvey Watkins, Jr. is most beneficial known for his function leading the Canton Spirituals, a pioneering gospel group that his dad, Harvey Watkins, Sr., 1st founded in 1943. Given birth to in 1954 in Canton, Mississippi, Watkins, Jr. performed regularly along with his father’s group throughout his child years, eventually joining like a full-time member in 1973. Pursuing his father’s loss of life in 1994, he assumed management of the group and it has acted as business lead singer since. Watkins, Jr. also released a successful single profession in 1990 using the launch of his first recording, He’s Here On a regular basis.
