Harolyn Blackwell

Metropolitan Opera soprano Harolyn Blackwell began her performing career within a Broadway revival of Western world Side Tale in 1980. She was chosen being a finalist for the Metropolitan Opera Country wide Council Auditions, and produced her mark on the opera in 1994, when she became a last-minute substitute in La Fille du Regiment. Since that time, she’s become among the world’s best touring sopranos. Blackwell’s record debut was included with Unusual Hurt, accompanied by Blackwell Sings Bernstein, A STRAIGHTFORWARD Song.
