Harold Austin

b. Harold Eugene Austin, 3 August 1944, Sharon, Pa, USA. Austin was raised in Kentucky and, influenced by the performing of Expenses Monroe and Lester Flatt, he continued to become probably one of the most well known high tenors of bluegrass music. Primarily, he previously no intention of the full-time musical profession and researched for the ministry. In 1972, he was operating at a chapel in Walton, Kentucky, when, after earning a performing contest, he joined up with Carl Tale’s Rambling Mountaineers. He documented albums with Tale and his music ‘Mom’s Last Terms’ presented as the name tabs on an Atteiram launch. In 1975, he documented a solo recording for your label and in addition formed his music group, First Country wide Bluegrass, with whom he documented further albums. He continued to be active along with his music group through the entire 70s and 80s, primarily playing Kentucky locations. In the first 90s he once again worked with Tale, but later on re-formed his personal music group when he became a minister at Dunnville, Kentucky, where he also proved helpful together with another bluegrass group, the Sullivans.
