Chicago hardcore band Harm’s Method began in 2006 like a jokey side project conceived by members of right edge hardcore band Couple of as well as the Proud. Drummer Chris Mills, guitarist Bo Lueders, vocalist Wayne Pligge (aka Hammers McPligue), bassist John Extreme caution, and guitarists Jon Hofacker and Jay Jancetic in the beginning started the music group as a overall performance and goofy stage display that discovered macho vocalist Pligge putting on a ski face mask and singing absurd lyrics as the music group targeted to emulate the brief, spastic power assault design of early-’90s punk innovators like Crossed Out or Guy May be the Bastard. The music group held their comical streak heading at first, liberating several 7″ singles within their 1st couple of years, but ultimately got much more serious and created their audio with each following release. Lineup adjustments ensued over time, and the music group worked with a number of brands, releasing their 1st album, Reality Methods, in ’09 2009 and pursuing it with 2011’s Isolation. They shifted from a loss of life metal audio to a far more industrial-leaning one with 2013’s Blinded EP, which will be their 1st launch for Deathwish Inc., the label of Converge member Jacob Bannon.
