Hari and Aino

Unlike what their name might suggest, Hari and Aino aren’t Finnish (the name Aino is usually Finnish in origin), they’re not Japanese (Hari is usually a Japanese name), and they are not at all a duo. Hari and Aino are in fact a Swedish five-piece comprising Kristoffer Rengfors, Gunnar Jacobsson, Pontus Leander, Andrea Dahlkild, and Robert Klaesson. Created in 2006, Hari and Aino’s sparse, quirky indie pop, seen as a angular acoustic guitar stylings and Dahlkild’s clean, icy vocals, nods to functions like California Snow Tale and Sambassadeur, not forgetting old-school groups just like the Orchids as well as the Would-Be-Goods. Their 1st EP, Your Heartache and Mine, premiered on Cloudberry Information in the summertime of 2007, and their self-titled debut recording premiered on Plastilina Information the following 12 months. An individual, “A Considerate Sort of House,” premiered on Cloudberry in ’09 2009.
