London-based trio Happyness mixed dreamy indie rock melodies that took inspiration from ’90s indie clothes such as for example Sparklehorse and Pavement, while intertwining purposeful, wry, 21st hundred years humor with their brooding tunes. Having known one another throughout their teenagers — that they had been in several other rings before they created Happyness — vocalist/guitarist Benji Compston, vocalist/bassist Jonny Allan, and drummer Ash Cooper discovered themselves together composing music inside a studio room under railway arches in Bermondsey, South London.
