Hanson & Davis

Session performers Aaron Hanson and Edward J. Davis comprised the freestyle duo Hanson & Davis, whose mixture of electro and golf club/dance rhythms yielded the strike single “Hungry for the Like” in 1986. While such comparable organizations as Lisa Lisa & Cult Jam and Miami Sound Machine loved considerable success because the 10 years advanced, Hanson & Davis’ Can’t Quit didn’t deliver another high-caliber solitary, despite support from metropolitan radio and underground golf club circles. The duo silently disbanded prior to the ’80s found a halt, and “Hungry for the Like” was later on re-released on Warlock Information in 1999.
