Hans Ulrik Neumann

Danish guitarist Ulrik Neumann had been a recognised star in the 1930s when he and his sister Gerda became a favorite guitar and vocal duo. They produced their profession principally in Norway and Denmark and held working even through the German profession, if they skirted laws and regulations restricting the hours of any night clubs by carrying out in the mornings or any additional hours not really prohibited, still controlling to pull crowds. Neumann was later on area of the postwar Scandanavian jazz trio the Swe-Danes, including violinist Svend Asmussen. Neumann and Asmussen later on teamed together like a duo and toured and documented together.
