Hans Brachrogge

This Danish singer and composer was delivered to Italy to review with Gabrieli with several musicians by Christian IV. He was also students of Bolchgrevinck upon his go back to Denmark, after that Hans was delivered to Britain to serve in the courtroom of Queen Anne, Adam I’s wife and Christian’s sister. Brachrogge’s musical legacy was “Madrigaletti a III voci, libro primo” which includes nineteen of his madrigals; these were considered simple to sing and quite visually pleasing.
