Dutch pianist Hannes Minnaar began music lessons in age group seven. He went to the Amsterdam Conservatory, where his instructors included pianist Jan Wijn and organist Jacques truck Oortmerssen. He continuing his postgraduate research with Alfred Brendel, and participated in professional classes with Menahem Pressler and Ferenc Rados. He became internationally known after acquiring the second award in the Geneva International Music Competition in 2008 and earning the third award in the Queen Elisabeth Competition this year 2010. In 2011, he received a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship. Being a soloist, Minnaar provides performed using the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, among various other ensembles, and spent some time working with such prominent conductors as Edo de Waart, Eliahu Inbal, Jirí Belohlávek, Herbert Blomstedt, Frans Brüggen, and Marin Alsop. Energetic being a chamber musician, Minnaar is normally a member from the Truck Baerle Trio, and he provides performed with Mischa Maisky, Janine Jansen, and Isabelle truck Keulen. He provides recorded for Problem Classics, Cobra Information, and EtCetera Information.
