Hanker

Quebec, Canada’s curiously called heavy metal music group Hanker got their begin in 1985, but would need to wait nearly ten years before liberating their debut recording, In Our Globe, in 1994. An extremely respectable 1st outing it had been, as well, with vocalist, guitarist, and keyboardist Pascal Cliche, guitarist Patrick Gravel, bassist Martin Jones, and drummer Jean-Francois Fillion uncovering obvious but flawlessly adequate affects from Iron Maiden, Jag Panzer, and additional classic metal rings. These influences transported over in to the band’s sophomore work, The Deceased Ringer, 3 years later on, which, like its forerunner, needed to be financed and released from the music group themselves, instead of any record business curiosity. That finally transformed when 2000’s Snakes & Ladders found out Hanker starting up with Metallic Disk, and Skyscraper Information for 2004’s Internet of Faith recording. The latter set also introduced a fresh rhythm portion of bassist Denis Cossette and drummer Luc Guay.
