Hank Wayland

Swing–era bassist. While located in New York through the 1930s Wayland used several best bandleaders, including Benny Goodman, Crimson Norvo, Artie Shaw, Bunny Berigan, and Larry Clinton. He relocated to the Western Coastline around 1943, employed in the studios and freelancing with such music artists as Eddie Miller and Wingy Manone.
