Halifax is really a five-piece pop-punk/emo-rock music group from Southern California. Made up of Mike Hunau (vocals), Chris Brandt (acoustic guitar/vocals), Tommy Guindon (drums), Adam Charles (acoustic guitar), and Doug Peyton (bass) from the middle-2000s, the group owed a lot of its rabidly faithful group of fans to continuous touring and large sums of Internet publicity on sites like www.purevolume.com and www.myspace.com. The music group shaped in 2002; later on that yr they issued Begin Back at Begin, a fairly standard emo-pop giving, on ECA Recordings. While on tour assisting the recording, differing opinions within the band’s long term direction ultimately result in stylistic and member adjustments inside the group. Halifax’s debut Drive-Thru full-length, The Inevitability of the Strange World, found its way to spring 2006.
