Half Makeshift

An ambient, post-rock, and post-metal task much within the same vein as Sunn 0))), Godspeed You Dark Emperor!, and Nadja, Fifty percent Makeshift may be the brainchild of single member Nathan Michael. Begun in Maryland in 2004, Fifty percent Makeshift released its 1st functions in 2007. (In reality, the vast majority of the project’s function premiered that 12 months.) The very first recording, Aphotic Leech, premiered on Utech, and was a one-track affair. That same 12 months, the four-song L’Anse Amort premiered (on 20 Buck Spin), as was the recording Last. In 2008, Fifty percent Makeshift released that which was reported to be its last full-length, Omen.
