Hades

Long-running speed metallic group Hades was originally shaped in 1978 by vocalist Paul Smith and guitarist Dan Lorenzo, after that high schoolers in Paramus, NJ. A 1982 starting time for Twisted Sister significantly elevated the band’s regional presence, and with drummer Tom Coombes and bassist Lou Ciarlo up to speed, Hades released its debut seven-inch Deliver Us from Bad. Appearances in the Steel Blade compilation Steel Massacre VI and Megaforce’s Delivered to Metalize implemented prior to the group — today comprising Lorenzo, Coombes, vocalist Alan Tecchio, guitarist Scott LePage and bassist Jimmy Schulman — agreed upon to Torrid Information and released their debut LP Resisting Achievement in 1987. Guitarist Ed Fuhrman changed LePage for the 1988 follow-up If initially YOU DO NOT Succeed, but while touring European countries Hades disbanded; Lorenzo shortly formed a fresh group, nonfiction, which released its debut EP Green in 1989. After a stint using the group Watchtower, Tecchio came back to NJ and joined nonfiction as well; every year, Hades also performed a reunion display at Newark’s Studio room One (1991’s display yielded the Go on Area disc), so when nonfiction dissolved upon completing their recording It’s an excellent Existence, Lorenzo and Tecchio reformed Hades with Fuhrman, LePage (right now on bass) and drummer Dave Lecsinsky. The reunion work SaviorSelf adopted in early 1999; The Downside made an appearance a year later on.
