H-Foundation

DJ’s Hipp-E (given birth to Eric Galaviz) and Halo (given birth to Brian Varga) had a mutual desire to create the type of tasteful home music these were spinning within their units, and joined causes to create the versatile audio system H-Foundation. Located in NORTH PARK, H-Foundation is among the few American creation teams which has discovered success within the U.K. tech-house picture, having a residency at London’s Fabric golf club and publicity on radio from high-profile DJs Pete Tong and Carl Cox. Singles and EPs on Soma, Siesta, and Low Recordings brought these to the attention from the Chemical substance Brothers, who enlisted these to remix “INCLUDE Us.” Their initial mix Compact disc, Nite: Lifestyle 02, made an appearance in 2001 on NRK Sound Department, bringing even more remix function and compilation performances. H-Foundation’s sophisticated audio received wide publicity using the pair’s full-length debut, the ambitious Conditions, released on Astralwerks in 2003.
