H-Bom

Philippine pop-rapper H-Bom initial appeared in 1997 using the record Buhay. Despite his ominous moniker, H-Bom was rather tame. Rapping mostly in British, his music recalled such American pop-rap crossovers as Will Smith, Youthful MC, or Shaggy with no reggae impact. H-Bom’s sophomore discharge, Pwede Ba?, made an appearance in 1998; D’ True Side implemented in 1999. The record continuing in the same vein set up by H-Bom’s previously material, using the rapper rotating nonthreatening rhymes and sometimes performing. Like many Philippine pop superstars, H-Bom prevented any hard sides on his materials to be able to cater to the biggest audience possible.
