Gypsy

These were from Leicester, U.K. however the San Francisco audio from the past due ’60s is all around the group Gypsy. John Knapp (vocals/electric guitar/keyboards), Robin Pizer (electric guitar/vocals), Rod Browse (electric guitar/vocals), David McCarthy (bass/vocals) and Moth Smith (drums) emerged jointly in 1968 and released an individual on Fontana as Legacy before changing the group’s name to Gypsy. Their self-titled debut premiered by United Performers in 1971 and shortly Rod Read still left and was changed by Ray Martinez. Small interest was paid towards the band’s 1972 sophomore record, Brenda & the Rattlesnake, so when the music group handed within their third record in 1973, United Performers wasn’t interested and it continued to be unreleased. German label World-wide reissued both albums on Compact disc in 1994 and ten years later Hux released The Romany Collection formulated with the first record, an individual, and six unreleased monitors.
