Gwen Stacy

The Christian metalcore outfit Gwen Stacy were formed in 2004 by Indianapolis residents Cole Wallace (vocals), Brent Schindler (bass, vocals), Patrick Meadows (guitar), and T.J. Sego (drums). Mixing inspirational, hope-filled lyrics with metallic chops affected by Underoath, Evergreen Terrace, and Stretch out Arm Solid, the quintet toured the united states for just two years before getting into the recording studio room with makers Paul Leavitt and Brian McTernan in fall 2007. Their debut LP, THE LIFE SPAN I Know, premiered by Ferret Music early the next year. The music group prepared to tour alongside Poison the Well to get the recording, but Wallace remaining the lineup soon before opening night time. Bobby Oakley, who got recently became a member of Gwen Stacy like a back-up guitarist, got over business lead vocals for a number of weeks before yielding the mike to Keith Jones (previously of the music group Rise), who sang business lead through the band’s Dec tour. In early 2009, Geoff Jenkins stepped in as Cole Wallace’s long term replacement, as well as the revised music group released A Dialogue later on that year.
