Gunshy

Gunshy’s music centers around the songwriting of Matt Arbogast, an uncompromising, sincere article writer. His tunes explore such topics as like, loss of life, and disillusion using the music which range from somber classical guitar to upbeat rock and roll. The Gunshy documented its debut recording, To Keep in mind/To Neglect (2002), with an eight-track recorder in Arbogast’s house in Lancaster, PA. Josh Silliman and Dave Pitz aided Arbogast through the album’s documenting, and the vocalist/songwriter performs live because the Gunshy in multiple configurations — as a complete music group, a duo, or occasionally even single. Arbogast has distributed stages over time with such rings as Joan of Arc, Jonah’s Onelinedrawing, and Denali.
