Gumption background originates in Tennessee where guitarist/vocalist Kurt Hagardorn and bassist Gary Miller initial got together to start out a music group. But without the luck, both quickly relocated to Chapel Hill, NC, in 1995 and finally recruited previous Sex Law enforcement drummer Jody Maxwell.
