From Milwaukee, Gumbo is area of the Life Family, headed by Arrested Development; Talk is an individual friend and manufacturer for the trio’s debut record, Dropping H2O for the Soulful Fibers. The record showcases the socially mindful lyrics of rappers Fulani and Deanna Dawn over Afro-Cuban rhythms. Percussionist and dancer Gichii Gamba rounds out the group.
