Guillemots

The multinational Guillemots, made up of British singer and classically trained pianist Fyfe Dangerfield, Brazilian guitarist MC Lord Magrao, Scottish percussionist Greig Stewart (aka Rican Caol), and Canadian twice bassist Aristazabal Hawkes, use their eclectic influences and personal styles to make a catchy pop sound and a lively live show which have won them many fans within their Uk home base. In 2005, they opened up for Rufus Wainwright during his U.K. tour and released the EP I Noticed Such Things in my own Rest. The “mini-album” From your Cliffs (a assortment of their early singles, including all songs through the EP) arrived in March 2006. The full-length, Through the Windowpane implemented later that season, and the poppy Red, including the hit one “OVERCOME It” was released in the springtime of 2008. The music group took a short hiatus, enabling Dangerfield release a a 2010 single album, Fly Yellowish Moon, before time for the studio room for 2011’s well-received Walk the River and 2012’s Hello Property!. Recorded generally in Norway, Hello Property! and was the to begin four albums that could constitute a project structured across the four period, referred to as The Emporium of Great Things.
