Grzegorz Nowak

Polish conductor Grzegorz Nowak examined conducting, composition, and violin on the Ignacy Jan Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland, after that received his doctorate on the Eastman College of Music in Rochester, NY. He received a Serge Koussevitsky Fellowship to Tanglewood, and examined with Leonard Bernstein, Seiji Ozawa, Erich Leinsdorf, and Igor Markevitch, and soon after became an associate to Kurt Masur.
