A FRESH York City-based DJ, manufacturer, and EDM musician, Dan Griffith, who operates beneath the nom de plume Gryffin, broke waves in 2014 and 2015 along with his remixes of Tove Lo’s “Speaking Body,” Maroon 5’s “Animals,” and Years & Years’ “Desire.” A classically educated pianist, Griffith honed his musical skills playing in rings — he’s also an achieved guitarist. Upon graduating with a power engineering degree in the School of Southern California, he started immersing himself in music creation, ultimately relocating to LA. In 2016 he released his debut one, “Heading House,” which highlighted Aussie vocalist Josef Salvat. The Bipolar Sunshine-assisted “Entire Heart” dropped afterwards that August, and in 2017 he released “FEEL GREAT,” which noticed him dealing with West Coastline DJ/manufacturer Illenium and Pittsburgh-based musician Daya.
