Offering four singers (Ada Aponte as well as the sisters Brenda, Elsa, and Grisel Meléndez), the effervescent Grupo Renacer released the album Puerto Rico Te Saluda independently label in 2006. The recording gained a nomination for Greatest Folk Album in the 2006 Latin Grammy Honours.
