Groundation

North California-based reggae group Groundation were shaped by guitarist/singer/lyricist Harrison Stafford, keyboardist Marcus Urani, and bassist Ryan Newman in 1998. All of those other band personnel offers fluctuated. By 2009, it included a horn section comprising David “Diesel” Chachere (trumpet), Kelsey Howard (trombone), and Dr. Jason Robinson (saxophone), aswell as percussionist Mingo Lewis, Jr. and performers Kim Pommell and Stephanie Wallace. The group’s newest member was drummer Te Kanawa Haereiti. Groundation self-released their debut recording, Young Tree, independently Youthful Tree label in 1999. Each One Teach One adopted on July 31, 2001. The disk presented guests Ras Michael and Marcia Higgs. Hebron Gate, released January 21, 2003, included Don Carlos as well as the Congos as guests. Don Carlos also made an appearance on We Free of charge Once again (November 16, 2004), along with Apple Gabriel. In 2005, Groundation released the dub recording Dub Wars. Following the appearance of Upon the Bridge on Oct 17, 2006, the music group not merely toured internationally as typical, but, for the very first time, also performed in the eastern fifty percent from the U.S. The home release of Right here I Am on August 18, 2009, also heralded a circular of American tour times.
