Groovey Joe Poovey


Rockabilly cat “Groovey” Joe Poovey was created in Dallas in-may 10, 1941. Something of a kid prodigy, at age ten he slice his debut solitary, “Santa’s Small Helper,” for the California-based Rural Tempo imprint, and within 2 yrs was headlining the neighborhood “Big D” Jamboree (a exclusive display broadcast every Sunday night time via radio train station KRLD) along with his music group the Hillbilly Males.
