Griffin House

A Nashville-based musician having a Midwestern upbringing, Griffin Home spikes his pop/rock and roll songwriting having a dosage of rootsy, atmospheric Americana. Home was created and elevated in Ohio, where he ultimately found out his musical presents while going to Miami University or college in Oxford. Influenced by Bruce Springsteen, Woody Guthrie, as well as the Mermaid Avenue albums by Wilco and Billy Bragg, Home embraced the art of songwriting and released many albums as an unbiased artist. His mixture of sentimental melodies, ambient guitars, and sparse plans attracted interest from Nettwerk, a Vancouver-based record label, and Home soon partnered using the label’s American branch to concern Lost & Within 2004. Many self-released albums adopted, and Home authorized with RCA before issuing Soaring UGLY, a folk-rock recording recorded with users of Tom Petty’s Heartbreakers. Although originally obtainable digitally in 2007, the record premiered to get early the next year, followed this year 2010 by his second record for the Nettwerk label, The Learner.
