Grey & Hanks

The Chicago-based performing and songwriting team Zane Grey and Len Ron Hanks wrote songs for Jerry Butler in the first ’70s before shifting to LA in 1976. They have scored big strikes as composers in the ’70s with L.T.D.’s “Back Love Once again” as well as the Tavares’ “NEVER REALLY HAD a Love SUCH AS THIS Before,” aswell as having Millie Jackson, Norman Connors, and Lenny Williams and Mystique record their music. They got their very own solo cope with RCA in 1978. Their initial LP, You Misled Me, yielded one Top 10 R&B strike in 1979, “Dancin,” which connected in to the remnants of disco fever and reached amount eight. They produced one more record for RCA, Perfect Period, in 1980.
