Greg Edwards

Among Britain’s most important DJs for spirit and funk through the past due ’80s and ’90s, Greg Edwards fired up London first in Radio 1 and later on Capital Radio and in the past due ’90s, Jazz FM. Edwards, who obtained experience doing work for CBS (through the reign from the O’Jays, Harold Melvin, the Three Levels, and Billy Paul), began DJing for Radio 1 in the first ’80s and, using the name of his present at Capital Radio coined the Spirit Spectrum tag utilized by both BBE and Obsessive for some soul series. After departing Capital in 1987, Edwards came back towards the airwaves in 1994 using the Bridge on Jazz FM, a slot machine that had taken him directly into another millennium. The 2002 compilation Spirit Range: Radio Periods comprised the average setlist from the administrative centre Radio years.
