Greg Cohen

A native of LA, bassist Greg Cohen continues to be playing in a variety of acclaimed music organizations because the ’60s. A good player without equivalent, Cohen has performed in countless jazz lineups with best musicians (who learn how to choose sidemen) including Expenses Frisell, John Zorn, and Dave Douglas, to mention just a couple. Cohen’s experience gets to far beyond anybody design or genre; he in addition has used the Rolling Rocks, Lou Reed, and Laurie Anderson, and he’s been a mainstay on Tom Waits’ albums since 1980’s Heartattack and Vine. Cohen in addition has made up for the Lincoln Middle Theater, amongst others, and collaborated on film rating plans for such films as Ed Real wood and Fried Green Tomato vegetables.
