Vocalist. Greetie Bijma is normally a vocal improviser, very much in the way of Jeanne Lee or Urzula Dudziak. She doesn’t perform ballads, present tunes, criteria or blues, rather wrapping her shouts and thrusts around free of charge improvisations and getting together with musicians doing primary, involved compositions.
