Green

Chicago power pop band Green were shaped in the middle-’80s by guitarist/singer/songwriter Jeff Lescher, whose influences included the Kinks, T. Rex, and spirit music. Although such albums as Green (1986) and Elaine MacKenzie (1988) had been fairly well-known in Holland, Green didn’t possess much exposure within their house nation. Arriving in 1991, Light Soul proclaimed a top in songwriting, although its unfocused 1992 follow-up, The Pop Tarts, was fifty percent power pop and fifty percent grunge so that they can gain a wider viewers. The three-song Le Pathetique EP found its way to 1993, and the band dropped silent. Following the turn from the millennium plus some adjustments in the band’s lineup, Green re-emerged with Eau de Vie in 2001 as well as the Planets in ’09 2009.
