Green Sky Grey

Paul Jones and DJ Harris have been building music separately for a long time with no understanding of the other if they met in Columbus in the past due ’90s and formed Green Sky Gray. Originally from Cleveland, OH, saxophonist/vocalist Paul Jones was looking for a band to become listed on. DJ Harris, having lately left the music group, Innuendo, was similarly searching for fresh opportunities. Originally called FIVE EYED SPY, until they found out the name was used, Green Sky Gray contains drummer Rick Ritzler and previous Under the Weapon guitarist Mike Hartless on bass. They released a self-titled, individually created debut in Feb 1999, independently Poor Boy Information label. Green Sky Gray gigged greatly throughout Ohio and neighboring claims, performing in good thing about Vietnam Veterans and the neighborhood Columbus AIDSWalk 2000 charity. A display at Columbus’ venerable Newport Music Hall (co-billed with King’s X), alongside substantial airplay on regional commercial and university radio demonstrated the band experienced made an absolute tag.
