Greek Fire

Shaped in 2008 by members of melodic post-hardcore outfits Tale of the entire year and perhaps Today, St. Louis, Missouri-based rock-band Greek Fireplace features the abilities of Johnny Venus (drums), Tag Joseph Roth (bass), Ryan Phillips (electric guitar), and Philip Sneed (aka Moon) (vocals). Constructed on a base of “creative credibility and integrity,” the quartet’s soaring mixture of stadium-ready choice rock, hard striking post-hardcore, and complicated, progressive pop was initially presented to everyone this year 2010 through a three-song eponymous EP. It had been implemented in 2011 with Deus Ex girlfriend or boyfriend Machina, the group’s full-length studio room debut.
