Great Buildings

Great Structures were an electrical pop/new influx group shaped in the first ’80s by Danny Wilde (vocal/acoustic guitar), Richard Sanford (drums), Philip Solem (acoustic guitar/vocals), and Ian Ainsworth (bass/key pad/vocals). They documented one recording for Columbia in 1981 before splitting up a short while later. Wilde continued release a one solo recording in 1989 for Geffen before teaming up once again with Solem to create the Rembrandts the next 12 months. The Rembrandts released three albums between 1991 and 1995 and discovered moderate achievement with “Simply the Way IT REALLY IS, Baby” in 1990 and “I’M GOING TO BE There for you personally” (the theme to the tv screen show Close friends) in 1995.
