Oldominion crew users and MCs Onry Ozzborn and JFK have been meaning to accomplish a project collectively for some time, nonetheless it wasn’t until once they heard Cannibal Ox’s 2001 recording, The Chilly Vein, that they made a decision to organize themselves. The finalized their lineup in 2003 with the help of bass participant Rob Castro, who experienced performed on Ozzborn’s The Gray Region. After Grayskul documented over 30 tunes and released a tour-only LP, their music experienced the hands of Rhymesayers mind Siddiq (Brent Sayers), who loved their hard-edged audio and immediately authorized them. Using the alter egos Cause, Fiddle Stay Recluse (or simply Recluse), and Phantom Ghost Un Topo, Ozzborn, JFK, and Castro — whose live present included a live DJ and oftentimes masks — released their debut, Deadlivers, in 2005, and 2 yrs later (this time around preferring the monikers “Count number Draven” and “Count number Magnus,” and without Castro) Bloody Radio, which highlighted verses from Aesop Rock and roll and Cage, amongst others, came out.
