GRAVES

Hawaii’s Christian Mochizuki, aka GRAVES, can be an in-demand DJ and electronic manufacturer known for his advanced, hip-hop-influenced progressive home style. A indigenous of Honolulu, Mochizuki initial found prominence after functioning as an engineer on Kanye West’s Grammy Award-winning 2010 record, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Illusion. Also during this time period, he gained credits on albums by Child Cudi, Justin Bieber, Big Sean, among others. After parting methods with Western world in 2013, he produced the short-lived EDM clothing OOF, with whom he gained the 2014 EDC Breakthrough Task. Disbanding OOF, Mochizuki followed the name GRAVES and started working to broaden his creative eyesight. He started launching monitors online and quickly garnered a group of fans for his kinetic, atmospheric, and frequently experimental audio. In 2017 he released his debut EP, Hilo, offering collaborations with Boombox Cartel, Hex Cougar, Lil Visitors, and others.
