Gravediggaz’s violent combination of hardcore gangsta rap and rock was labeled “horrorcore” by some within the press. The complete incident is relatively ironic, taking into consideration the history of the group. The mastermind of the group, the Undertaker, is way better referred to as Stetsasonic’s Prince Paul (given birth to Paul Huston), that has created De La Spirit among other substitute hip-hop groups. Another members are the Rzarector (RZA of Wu-Tang Clan), the Grym Reaper (Poetic), as well as the Gatekeeper (Frukwan; delivered Arnold Hamilton). Gravediggaz’s 1994 debut record, Six Foot Deep, was a hit, breaking the very best 40 from the pop record charts and formulated with the one “Diary of the Madman.” The Get, the Sickle as well as the Shovel implemented in 1997, along with a season afterwards the group came back with Scenes Through the Graveyard.
